Foundations of Entrepreneurship - BA 199

The course will cover the foundations of entrepreneurship including the topics of:
  • entrepreneurship defined
  • history of entrepreneurship--the founders and the formulators
  • relationship of entrepreneurship as an emerging field of study to established disciplines
  • the emerging content of entrepreneurship--from idea to enterprise
  • the DNA of entrepreneurs
  • the skills and competencies of entrepreneurs
A select number of serial, experienced entrepreneurs will lecture during the semester and there will be a field trip to visit "fast growth, high impact" entrepreneurial enterprises.
